Our Cut and Style Services

Women's Cut (from $80)

A custom cut designed around your face shape, hair texture, and how you actually wear your hair day to day. We start with a real consultation. Not a quick "what are we doing today?" but a conversation about your hair patterns, your styling routine, and what you want to grow out or grow into. Includes a wash, scalp massage, blow dry, and style.

Blow Dry and Style (from $60)

A fresh blow out and style of your choosing, whether that's smooth and sleek, soft beach waves, or polished volume. A popular booking before events, photoshoots, weddings around the DMV, or just for a really good hair day. (Note: if you have extensions, there will be an additional charge, since longer hair takes more time and care to dry and finish well.)

How we approach a cut?

Every cut starts with a real conversation. We don't pick up the shears until we know:

  • What you're working with day to day, including texture, density, growth patterns, and any cowlicks

  • How you actually wear your hair (air dry, blow dry, hot tools, ponytail life)

  • Your work, workout, and weekend rhythms

  • Where you want to be in three months, not just at checkout

That last part matters more than people realize. A cut that grows out beautifully is a different cut from one that looks great on day one but falls apart by week six. We design for both.

Texture and curls

Curly and wavy hair gets cut differently than straight hair, and not every salon understands that. We pay attention to your curl pattern, how it springs up when dry, and where the weight is sitting in your hair. Cutting curly hair while it's wet without thinking about how it'll behave dry is one of the fastest ways to end up with a shape that doesn't work. We take that into account from the start.

If you have curls, waves, or any texture beyond pin-straight, mention it when you book and we'll pair you with a stylist who specializes in your hair type.

A quick note on extension cuts

If you have hand-tied or K-tip extensions installed by us, your install appointment includes the cut and styling work needed to blend the wefts seamlessly into your natural hair. You don't need a separate cut booking on the day of install.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For a cut, day-old hair is ideal. We want to see how your hair actually behaves and how it sits on your head. Fresh-from-the-shower wet doesn't show us that. You'll get a wash as part of your service, so don't worry if it's been a few days.

  • Please do. A few photos, ideally from front, side, and back, are the fastest way to communicate what you want. We'll talk through what would translate best to your hair texture and growth patterns. Sometimes the answer is "yes, exactly like that," and sometimes it's "let's adapt this for your hair." We'll be honest with you either way.

  • Yes, and we treat texture as its own skill set. When you book, mention your texture so we can pair you with the right stylist. We assess your curl pattern dry before we cut, and adjust technique based on whether you typically wear your hair curly, blown out, or both.

  • For most clients, every 8 to 12 weeks keeps your shape feeling fresh. Shorter cuts like bobs and pixies need more frequent maintenance, usually every 4 to 8 weeks. Long hair you're growing out can stretch to 12 to 16 weeks between cuts as long as the ends stay healthy.

  • A trim is a small refresh to clean up split ends without changing your shape, usually under an inch off. A cut is a more intentional shape change, whether that's adding layers, changing length, or adjusting the overall structure. Both have their place. We'll ask which you're after at your consultation.

  • Yes. Our Blow Dry and Style service is available as a standalone booking. It's a popular option before events, photoshoots, weddings, or whenever you want a great hair day without doing it yourself.

  • Longer hair takes longer to dry and style well, especially with hand-tied or K-tip extensions involved. The added charge accounts for the extra time and the technique needed to blend the wefts smoothly through the finish.
